David Waldon
I was born in England and raised in a USAF family. Mom was English, and Dad a Texan. I started playing guitar when I was 12 (our piano had to be sold-we moved too much!) and am self-taught except for the year of classical guitar group classes at UNT. I led the music in my church for several years, sang with the San Antonio and Sacramento symphony choirs, the Texas Bach Choir, and also toured and co-wrote songs with Country Artist Shelley Laine - helping her achieve 5 top 40 hits. There will be more - Shelley Laine is a major talent (and close personal friend-check out her website at www.shelleylaine.com ). I played bass in the hard rock band Tripwagon, and we released an original CD. I also played bass in Mike Pritchard's Cat House Blues Band in Lubbock, Texas, and recently moved back to Dallas. As you can tell, I believe the more you love music, the more music you love!
